Sue Ann is an educator who first shared her passion for learning with children of all ages in the classroom and later through psychoeduation as a therapist. For over a decade, she has enjoyed combining her knowledge of education, child development, and psychology to provide strength-based, culturally sensitive counseling. Over the years, she has devoted her practice to helping individuals, couples, families and children overcome obstacles, release trauma, and enhance their relationships.

For much of her practice, Sue Ann specialized in helping families through difficult transitions, such as separation, divorce, and remarriage. She was a child specialist and divorce coach in the field of collaborative divorce, as well as a family law court-appointed special advocate. She helped families to draft parenting plans, and she performed parenting and family assessments for mediation, cooperative and collaborative law.

Sue Ann has also spent many years studying trauma and working with clients to release trauma from the body. Some of her trainings include:

  • CIMBS
  • Somatic Transformation
  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Lifespan Integration
After over a decade of working with trauma, Sue Ann is moving in a new direction and returning to her roots as a passionate educator. Workshops and retreats provide the perfect setting to impart valuable knowledge and to offer unique opportunities to explore connection with self and others. Through workshops and retreats, Sue Ann applies her knowledge of trauma and neurobiology to help individuals and couples strengthen and deepen their relationships with self and with others.
